Lesson terms
We keep this short. These are the few things every learner agrees to when they book with ZK Driving School — mainly so nobody's surprised later.
Paying for lessons
- You pay your instructor on the day of each lesson — cash, card or bank transfer — unless you've bought a block package, which is paid up front.
Cancelling a lesson
- Please give your instructor as much notice as you can — a quick call or text is fine.
- A lesson cancelled with less than 6 hours' notice, or cancelled on the day of the lesson, is still charged.
- If you're not there when your instructor arrives (a no-show), that counts as a same-day cancellation.
What you're charged: the first time it happens, 1 hour of your lesson price. Any time after that, up to the full price of the lesson.
If your instructor has to cancel
- It happens occasionally — illness, car trouble, bad weather. You won't be charged, and we'll rebook you as soon as we can.
Before every lesson
- Bring your provisional licence (a photo of it is fine) and any glasses or contact lenses you need for driving.
- You must be fit to drive — not tired out, unwell or under the influence of anything. Your instructor can end a lesson if it isn't safe to continue.
