Learning to drive in Rusholme

The Curry Mile stretch of Wilmslow Road is slow, busy and unpredictable — buses, taxis, delivery bikes, people crossing everywhere — and once you can handle that calmly, very little will faze you. Don’t worry: we don’t start you there.
Your first lessons happen on the quieter streets around Victoria Park, Platt Fields and Dickenson Road. Then we build up: Moss Lane East, Anson Road, Wilmslow Road itself, and out onto Princess Road for faster driving. Our instructors teach in Rusholme and Fallowfield every week and know exactly where learners get caught out.
Tests from Rusholme are usually at West Didsbury (ten minutes south) or Cheetham Hill (across the city). We teach both sets of routes and we’ll help you choose.

Pay-as-you-go lessons are 1½ hours (£55) or 2 hours (£70 manual / £72 automatic). Block-book 10 hours (£330 manual / £350 auto) or 20 hours (£650 manual / £680 auto) and the hourly rate drops to as little as £32.50. Intensive courses are priced separately.
